I recently started playing Attila after finishing another Rome 2 campaign but I just can't deal with the horribly low FPS. On Rome 2 I'm pulling about 150-200 FPS at all times .
Try the Turnspeeder mod from Little Shepherd. It takes away all sorts of animations (raiding, events etc.) on the campaign map. Its purpose is to get faster turns .
I have tried Patch 3 Beta but the FPS in Campaign Map is still slow, it drops as low as 12 FPS when you select Armies or Agents etc.

Honestly, I almost felt like Atilla's campaign map ran like molasses in January but its' battle maps surprisingly smooth. Was never so bad as to make it unplayable, just slightly obnoxious. A patch in the future (ideally one not unlike the year one patch for Rome II that resolved so many issues with that game's state at launch) would be extremely welcome; .First things first, the most impactful change you can do is download the more recent and optimized shaders of Throne of Brittania, It increase fps slightly and stability alot. Download those two pack files, and copy paste them in your Attila folder.
